Elcome International signs technical support agreement with Terma for surveillance radar systems.
Dubai-based Elcome International has signed an agreement with Terma A/S to provide service and technical support for surveillance radar systems in the Middle East and Africa.
“Under the agreement, Elcome will provide a range of technical services to include installations, commissioning, hardware and software upgrades and field service for Terma radar systems,” said Sandeep Zutshi, Elcome International, general manager for strategic projects. “Elcome will also manage a pool of readily available critical spare parts.”
The scope of work encompasses Terma solid-state SCANTER 2000, SCANTER 2001 and SCANTER 5000 radar systems, which are used for vessel traffic services and surveillance of rivers, waterways, ports and coastal waters as well as surface movement in airports.
