Manager – Sales

Key responsibilities

  • Sales and promotion of marine navigation, communication and automation solutions.
  • Works with various applications within the marine industry.
  • Ensures quotations are submitted to customers as per technical and commercial requirements; comply with internal company rules and regulations
  • Develops, maintains long term relationships in the ship building – ship owners and ship design industry stakeholders 
  • Builds partnership with the customers; provide customers with superior value and service.
  • Responsible for the representation and promotion of marine products within the designated region towards shipyards and ship owners.
  • Maintains contact with relevant suppliers and authorities.
  • Seeks new markets and projects and updating about market trends and requirements.
  • Obtains enquiry and technical requests from customers.
  • Obtains quotation, technical and commercial remarks from Business Unit.
  • Submits offers to customers, follow-ups and granting information flow between customers and Business Unit.
  • Schedules appointments and organization of visits with customers
  • Updates project list and planning figures.

Requirements

  • Should be graduate in Engineer/Business, with MBA.
  • Bilingual (English & Arabic) would be an added advantage.
  • A minimum 5 years of experience in similar position within the marine industry.
  • Knowledge of MENA marine industry.
  • Successful sales track record
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Should be good in using MS office.
  • Holding a valid UAE driving license a must.
Executive – Sales

Key responsibilities

  • Generate sales inquiries for marine products and services in the domain of navigation, communication and automation, and the same to be promptly and professionally dealt with.
  • To ensure productive trade engagement by maintaining and developing business relationships.
  • Negotiate pricing and to achieve the revenue/sales targets.
  • Strong client base development skills and mentality to recognize and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Proven abilities and skills to conduct market study and analysis for developing existing and new business.
  • Should be a ‘Go to Market’ attitude personnel with ability to connect people, client contacts at higher level & should be able to convert contacts into business.
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility and build relationships with customers and key people across a range of industry sectors.
  • Monitoring the sales documentation to comply with quotation.
  • Project monitoring and support.

Requirements

  • Should be a graduate in engineering or business studies.
  • Arabic speaking skill would be an added advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Sales Executive within marine industry
  • Customer focused/orientated.
  • Team player and out-of-the-box thinker.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a pleasing personality.
  • Good written/spoken communication and presentation skills.
  • Should be good in using MS office.
  • Holding a valid UAE driving license a must.
