Elcome International Establishes Service Center for Coltraco Ultrasonics in UAE

DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES – April 28, 2016 – Elcome International, the leading marine solutions provider and system integrator in the Middle East and one of the largest marine technology companies in the world, has been appointed by Coltraco Ultrasonics to provide service and technical support for its products in the United Arab Emirates.

Under the agreement, Elcome is establishing an authorized Organizational Delegate Authority (ODA) Service Center for Coltraco’s Portalevel™ MAX and Portascanner™ ultrasonic products at its headquarters facility in Dubai.

Portalevel MAX is Coltraco’s eighth-generation liquid level indicator. The UL-approved intrinsically safe product uses ultrasonic technology to detect the level of fire suppression agent contained within a cylinder. Coltraco has installed Portalevel products on more than 9,000 commercial vessels, 1,000 offshore oil and gas platforms, 500 power stations and 5,000 fire protection companies in 105 countries. Portascanner provides watertight integrity testing for hatchcovers, cable transit areas, flanges, doors, scuttles and steering gear seals. It is an efficient alternative to water hose or pressure testing.
