The contents of the Plan are generic in nature, provision has been made for ships staff to include ship specific information thereby customising each plan to an individual vessel, as required by the regulations. The Plan is an excellent reference source for those persons whose responsibilities include crew familiarisation and training in the shipboard strategies of garbage disposal. Includes important updates to the Polar Code MEPC.264(68) and MARPOL Annex V. ICS recommends that a copy is carried on board every ship.
